EMERY THEATER TOUR

The Emery Theater has been a hidden architectural and historic gem of downtown Cincinnati since 1911. Its stage has been graced with the presence of such renowned figures as Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Eleanor Roosevelt. The Emery is scheduled for renovation, making this a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to tour this space before it is changed forever.

THE HIDDEN CAVERNS TOUR

11 a.m. & 2 p.m., 9/18 @ 11:30 a.m. & 3 p.m.
The Hidden Caverns tour goes underground to explore the Linck brewery tunnels and the Jackson brewery tunnels. We will visit the site where Johnny Cash filmed a movie and see the inside of the last few remaining structures from the original Christian Moerlein Brewery complex. Beer tasting available exclusively for tour guests 21 and over at the Northern Row Taproom.

 

NEWPORT GANGSTER TOUR

9/17 @ 10:30 a.m. & 1:30 p.m.
Explore the streets where the mob made their millions, gamblers lost their lives and ladies of the night earned their reputations. Join our gangster guides for a raucous, high-energy presentation inside an old casino to explain the historical significance of Newport, Kentucky, and discover how this little town gave birth to the modern day gaming industry.

 

CINCINNATI WINE AND DESSERT TOUR

9/17 @ 1 p.m.
Join American Legacy Tours as we stroll through Over-the-Rhine sampling sweet treats and tasting delectable wines. This two-hour tour will feature desserts from three amazing businesses along with four wine tastings. 1919 THE YEAR THAT CHANGED BASEBALL:

9/17 @ 10:30 a.m.
Join American Legacy Tours, in conjunction with the Reds Hall of Fame & Museum, as we tour downtown Cincinnati and celebrate the city’s role in shaping the game of baseball. This tour focuses on the events and activities surrounding the controversial 1919 World Series that matched up the Cincinnati Reds and the Chicago White Sox.

 

ULTIMATE QUEEN CITY IS HAUNTED

9/17 @ 3 p.m. & 6 p.m.
Join us for this very special tour of the Queen City, consistently ranked as one of the best haunted tours in Cincinnati. We will travel the streets of Over the Rhine telling the terrifying true stories of the neighborhood. We end the tour visiting the historic Emery Theater. Tour time is approximately two hours.

 

GRAINS TO GRAPES: 7 HOUR CHAUFFEURED TOUR

Tour one of the oldest bourbon distilleries in Kentucky, travel back in time to the beginning of bourbon-making, and visit the most historic spirits site in America. Old Pogue Distillery has a history dating back to the years following the Civil War. Today, the bourbon-making tradition is carried forward by fifth and sixth generation Pogues using the original Pogue recipes under a time-honored and fixed formula to create handcrafted whiskies.

Learn more about the impact the Pogue family had on the history of bourbon with the Old Pogue Experience at the Kentucky Gateway Museum. The Baker-Bird Distillery & Winery site is the most historic spirits site in America. The distiller, John Baker, fought in the American Revolution and began to distill bourbon during the Whiskey Rebellion in 1794.

NORTHERN KY “BOURBON LINE” TOUR – North Route

On this 6-hour chauffeured private tour, you will tour 3 unique distilleries and meet the incredible craftsmen bringing the spirit of distilling back to Northern Kentucky. A new riff on an old tradition, New Riff Distillery is independently owned and located in Newport, Kentucky. New Riff crafts a range of whiskeys – Bourbon, Rye, Malted Rye, and a host of specialty recipes. Boone County Distilling has been making fine Kentucky Bourbon since 2015. They honor their history and proudly declare their Bourbon is “Made by Ghosts.”

Lastly, tour Second Sight Spirits, a small, artisan distillery located in downtown Ludlow, Kentucky. The founders of this distillery, Rick Couch and Carus Waggoner, see a new vision of artisan distilling that will focus on premium, local products presented in an innovative way.

They honor their history and proudly declare their Bourbon is “Made by Ghosts.” The Neeley Family Distillery has a long history of distilling and bootlegging moonshine in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky. Their tours and tastings offer an unparalleled history of Kentucky’s illegal distilling history, making this destination one of a kind.

Three Boys Farm Distillery is a small craft and contract distillery nestled on a 122-acre farm where they feature premium single barrel bourbon and whiskey. Three Boys grows their own corn and other grains that are used in a pot-still single distillation process.
